Can’t decide which colour lipstick to apply? Be bold and try them all!
To get the rainbow look, you’ll need every shade of “ROYGBIV”. If you’re not up to date with your rainbow hues, it goes like this:
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Indigo
- Violet
Sit your lippy shades in the right order, in a “rainbow lip bar.” You will also need a separate lip brush or cotton tip for each colour. These types of applicators give you more control, for a cleaner finish.
To perfect your pout you’ll need to start with a gentle exfoliator, followed by a lip primer. Next, decide how you want your colours to flow.
For example, do you want to go vertically or horizontally? Will your bottom lip match your top, or will you rainbow it up in a circular pattern?
Start with a little and build your colours. Don’t be afraid to blend the edge of each shade to create a softer rainbow.
Finish with setting spray and get ready to say “cheese!” If you’re feeling fun, you can add some sparkles or clear gloss.
