There is nothing like a little mid week DIY beauty, and the Gelicious Hybrid Gel Nail Colour range will give you long lasting nail colour every time. To get started you need your own UV LED Nail Lamp (if you don’t have one you can purchase from Gelicious), Gelicious colour, Gelicious Ultra Glaze Top Coat and your nail polish remover (must contain acetone) and buff / file.
This is probably the simplest method of DIY gel style nail colour I have come across, once your nails are prepped you paint, cure (pop your nails under the light for 30 seconds), add a second coat, cure, add a thin top coat and cure. Finish by applying nail polish onto a cotton ball and wipe across your nails to remove stickiness and voila…nail polish that lasts longer.
The more effort you take to prepare your nails, the better the result and it is so straight forward you can even watch TV while following the process. There is a selection of shades to choose from with your classics to your brights and even some sparkly numbers thrown into the mix.
Right now I’m wearing Little Prince George (pictured) which is a Royalty inspired colour in blue with white dots. This is fun and stress free and as soon as you are finished your nails are good to go!
I will be going back to Gelicious for more shades to add to my collection. When it is time to remove soak for 10 minutes in nail polish remover or purchase the Gelicious Soak ‘n Scratch Wraps. Easy, gentle as any other nail polish with less chance of chipping.
