L’OCCITANE’s La Collection De Grasse is a collection of beautiful perfumes and I have had the pleasure of trying the Vanille and Narcisse fragrance.
Let me begin by quoting the brand’s pretty description of the scent,
“Discreet at first, the scent of narcissus swells to reveal a bouquet of white flowers and spicy heart accords. Finally, rich and radiant vanilla borrows the wilder, untamed notes of narcissus that give it spirit”.
The raw materials are sourced from France (narcissus absolute) and Madagascar (vanilla absolute).
Head notes: blackcurrant and bergamont
Heart notes: narcissus and gardenia
Base notes: vanilla and tonka bean
The result is a luxurious scent that is perfect for spring. Although it is vanilla, the other scents complement it well to ensure it isn’t too sweet or overpowering.
Other perfumes available include The Vert and Bigarade, Magnolia and Mure and Jasmin and Bergamonte.
The 75ml Eau De Toilette has an RRP of $80.00. In stores from 24th July 2013 from L’OCCITANE boutiques and selected department stores.
