I know I am way behind when it comes to jumping on the Clinique Chubby Stick bandwagon, but now that I have the Super Strawberry in my hand and on my lips I can’t help but give it a glowing review.
To begin with the design of the Chubby is a little different to your typical lipbalm pot or tube, it’s more like a thick pencil / crayon.
Even though it may look like something you can write with, there is nothing crisp or sharp about it – just a special softness and moisture (think Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil) that glides across your lips.
The colour of my strawberry friend is quite subtly rosy, there is some shine but the colour is leaning towards the natural side rather than matte.
No fragrance, super soft lips and a colour you can build up I am in lipbalm heaven. Love the packaging, love the application and love that it comes in eight different shades: Chunky Cherry, Fuller Fig, Graped-up, Mega Melon, Richer Raisin, Super Strawberry, Whole Lotta Honey, and Woppin’ Watermelon.
Quick tip: Twist the bottom silver panel to expose more of the stick, no sharpening for this little cutie!
