User Review: griffin+row

griffin+row are an Australian skin care company specialising in a simple, effective, natural, sustainable and affordable skin care regime. Their philosophy is very much ingredient based aiming to provide a range that is suitable for all skin types.

The range is free from harmful chemicals; which means no artificial fragrances, artificial colouring, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetics and animal products and not tested on animals.

griffin+row have developed a simple five step skin care routine that only includes essential steps and are simple enough to fit into every busy schedule.

Cleanse
The first step in your daily skincare routine is to cleanse to gently remove impurities, pollutants and makeup. Cleanse, the botanically enriched natural cleanser cream, leaves your skin feeling ultra soft, clean and smooth. Use in the shower morning and night or after exercise. It couldn’t be simpler!
RRP: $25

Exfoliate
While the skin has its own system of cell renewal we need to assist the exfoliating process by wiping the skin to remove the dead cells from the surface. The griffin+row natural exfoliant cloth is a very gentle exfoliant for daily use. Combine with step 1 to wipe away Cleanse in the shower and you’re essentially doing 2 steps in 1 in just a couple of minutes!
RRP: $25

Hydrate
Hydrate takes a few short seconds and is important to give your skin an extra boost, an instant refresh, replenish the moisture in your skin cells and help maintain natural moisture balance. Hydrate is a natural and alcohol free solution that takes mere seconds to spray on a tired, dehydrated face and can be carried in the handbag for use throughout the day.
It will also aid the absorption of Nourish and/or Enrich.
RRP: $32

Nourish
Every skincare routine involves moisturising, which helps address lack of hydration by creating a barrier that keeps water in your skin. Moisturisers also aid by rehydrating your skin to a certain extent, because they contain water. Nourish, is a beautifully scented, rich, nurturing natural skin moisturiser that provides your skin with all day protection. Take a few moments to massage a small quantity into the skin on your face and neck morning and night after Hydrate to lock in vital moisture.
RRP: $38

Enrich
Enrich – is a luxurious antioxidant night cream with a higher concentration of centess+complex used to boost the efficiency of Nourish. Massage in nightly and whenever your skin needs extra nourishment to rebalance dryness and regain natural radiance.
RRP: $42

  1. would love to try one of the new products above, been in hospital and my skin is now very dry to touch… thanks for all the wonderful xmas ideas and bits and bobs we are being shown… this family gives to eyes fred hollows, both of us wear glasses. betty threlfo 7 Hube court Huntingdale 6110 perth w.a.

  2. I just received the moisturiser last week (Nourish) and the skin on my face is already feeling softer. I have suffered this past Winter with terrible dermatitis around my eyes and lips and coming into Summer it hasn’t gone away.

I am hoping that with further use and an appropriate toner, this moisturiser will eventually fix my dry skin and dermatitis. The texture is quite thick but melts into the skin nicely.

There are no parabens and the ingredients are all natural. The smell is very subtle and lovely. I will definitely look at purchasing this product if it works although the RRP is $38 which is not that cheap. All worth it if it fixes my dermatitis. Thank you beautyandlace!!!!

  3. I have received a sample of the Enrich night cream. I love the fact that it is all natural, I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive. This cream does not irritate my skin at all. A little goes a long way so I think it’s worth the $42 price tag as I think it is going to last a long time. My skin feels nice and hydrated after I’ve used it, and stays that way all night.

The only down side to this product is the smell. Don’t get me wrong … it’s not horrible or anything, it’s just not particularly nice. If this product keeps my skin moisturised all night in the winter when my skin is much dryer, then I would probably buy it.

Thanks B&L and griffin+row for giving me the opportunity to sample this product 🙂

  4. I have recently started using skincare at night before I go to bed, so I was very excited to receive the Enrich night cream. The cream is easy to dispense out of the tube, and you don’t need to use much as it smooths onto the skin really nicely. I found it a little thicker than some moisturisers I have used, but it soaks into the skin really nicely and doesn’t leave any residue.

It does have a scent, which doesn’t seem to be from any added fragrance, but rather from the ingredients. It’s not overpowering but I am aware of it when I apply the cream,

I’ve found my skin is soft and moisturised after using Enrich, and feels nice and hydrated.

Griffin and Row definitely have a great product in Enrich, an added bonus that it is made in Australia, with no harmful chemicals added.

Thank you Beauty and Lace and griffin + row for providing me with this amazing trial!

  5. Thank you beauty & Lace and griffin + row for letting me trial Nourish moisturiser.

I received the product a few days before going overseas which was actually a great test for this versatile product. After reading the info and pamphlets, I was a bit concerned that it was not going to be mousturising enough for the harsh, dry Vegas winter as I am normally in high humidity living in QLD. I have been happy with my current skin care but it’s expensive and I wanted a natural alternative.
I used Nourish before I went and was impressed with how lightweight it was and how little I needed to go a long way. It smells great (subtle lavendar and geranium I think) and easy to dispense from the tube.
While in Vegas, my skin usually becomes flaky, itchy and dry. Well, I wish I could use this all over my body as it kept my skin hydrated, soft and nourished and didn’t have to use any more than I would normally at home. Meanwhile, my arms and legs are so itchy they bleed in the bed clothes at night!
I am certainly sold on the moisturiser so when I run out of serum and eye cream of my current brand, I will absolutely be looking for more griffin + row products (which seem to be reasonably priced too!)

  6. I was lucky enough to review the enrich cream and it was amazing. It isn’t greasy and rubs in easily. I have noticed a lot less blackheads since using also.

  7. I recently tried the nourish moisturiser which I did enjoy using. The smell itself was a very natural smell so you feel like there is no nasties going on your face. However the moisturiser doesn’t do anything outstanding and different from other moisturisers I have tried. Overall I would not pay $38.00 for the product I tried. I will use this until it is finished though.
