Winter is upon us and in my part of the country it has come in quick, and hard. The biting bitter winds and ice cold air outside combined with the heating inside conspire to dry me out faster than the sun in summer. Remaining hydrated in winter can be a challenge, from both the inside and the outside.
In this weather the last thing I want to do is drink water, a coffee is so much more warming, and I am terrible for forgetting to moisturise.
Balms can be more effective than other moisturisers because they maintain the natural moisture in the skin, acting as a barrier against external conditions.
Paw Paw Balm has an all-natural base of beeswax, sunflower seed oil and Vitamin E but better than that is the absence of petrochemicals and hidden nasties. Paw Paw is a great skin healer packed with the classic ‘skin vitamins’ A, E and C.
I love the Nature’s Care Paw Paw Balm because it is so versatile, and it smells divine. Not only is it fantastic for keeping my hands and face hydrated, protecting me from the worst of the winter winds and cranked heating. It is also my go-to balm for the delicate little butt in my house because it’s all natural and safe for cloth nappies. The 30g tube is the perfect size for the nappy bag.
It isn’t only delicate little butts the balm is beaut for, Nature’s Care Paw Paw Balm is fantastic for helping keep baby’s delicate skin hydrated in the drying winter conditions. It’s great for hands, feet, faces, lips – anywhere.
Nature’s Care Lip Balm has a fresh fruity paw paw flavour which is much nicer than some of the other lip balms I have tried over the years. The built in applicator makes it a breeze to keep you lips smooth and soft with that nice glossy look.
Nature’s Care Lip Balm, 10g Price $3.99 and Nature’s Care Balm, 30g Price $5.99. Available from Woolworths and Priceline stores.
