As a beauty editor I try a range of different products and right now the focus is on tanning and bronzing. I am a firm believer in “slip, slop, slap (plus seek and slide which are the latest additions)” and you wouldn’t find me anywhere near a solarium. That being said, I like a bronzed body as much as the next girl…whether its a full body (fake) tan or a touch of bronze on my cheeks the result is a healthy glow and I always feel slimmer and more confident in the perfect shade of brown.
I have researched high and low and have come up with 12 recommended products for this summer, each with varying price-points and features. The only thing these beauties are lacking is orange, and that’s just the way I like it.
THE GRADUAL TAN
For the beginner or fair skinned maidens, the invention of the gradual tan is a genius idea. A good product should work as a body moisturiser, which adds colour over a few days without streaking or turning orange. An added benefit is there is no strong fake tan smell.
