OPI Winter Colours

I’m not going to spend this entire post raving about how long lasting and good quality OPI polishes are, (because I am sure you have heard it all before and are convinced) but I am going to tell you about some of my favourite shades for Winter 2011.

Big Hair…Big Nails is a newie, it’s a bit pinky red and a bit orange and has that bright peach melon feel which is in right now. It has shine and is more translucent than matte but you can double coat it for extra coverage.

During winter I love looking down at bright toenails (when they aren’t covered in socks and boots) and this shade is perfect.

Chocolate is everywhere, and I mean that literally…the Easter bunny is coming so why not have a little fun with your nails? Suzi Loves Cowboys is a chocolatey brown that will satisfy your cravings.

A shade that will compliment the Autumn weather and falling leaves.

A rich magenta which has some life while still being a winter warmer is Manicurist of Saville and this is one you will never get tired of. It’s not high impact red, but it still has that glamour factor.

Fingers or toes, this is one I will keep going back to…and one for all the vampire fans out there.

And Give Me the Moon is a shade that reflects its name. An opal colour that is nice for fingernails and any chipping isn’t as noticable as with the rich, darker shades.

By no means a flat colour, there is some sparkle and it changes slightly depending on the light.

OPI is available at selected salons and David Jones.
