OPI Nail Apps have been around for a while, and this week I’ve been using the Hearts design. Hearts is a white background with a cute read heart pattern.
I’ve been experimenting with a variety of nail applique brands lately and I would say OPIs version are a little more difficult to apply than Nailease, but easier than Blixz. There are 16 pre-cut strips, and you can cut them if required. I found that I didn’t have to do much cutting except for my pinkies which nails are quite small.
You need to start with clean nails, use some nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol to make sure all the oil is taken off the surface – this will make them last longer. To get them off the plastic you needs to rub them to generate some heat, then they peel off like stickers. Place them on your nails and smooth out the bumps. You file the top and then you are ready to party.
There are a range of designs available, and Hearts are very feminine and girly, I think teens will especially love these!
OPIs Nail Apps lasted around a week, when I was ready to take them off they peeled off without any problems.
