A clever idea for DIY stick on nails is the Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs. Normally when you buy nails you need to use the included glue – but these tabs give you an alternative.
They work like double sided stickers, you place one on each natural nail and the fake nail goes on top. With a variety of different sizes, there is no cutting required – just stick, hold down…and you’re set to go.
I tried the Nailene Ultra Adhesive Tabs recently paired with their So Natural Everyday French nails. I don’t normally use fake nails but these give you a really clean French Mani feel and were only slightly longer than my own nails. I found the adhesive tabs easy to work with and the whole process was quick and painless!
They stuck surprisingly well, although not quite as well as the glue – which I ended up using for one or two which I couldn’t get to stay on. The difference is that the tabs aren’t damaging to your natural nails and require less effort to remove. They stayed put for about 4 days, making them a good temporary option for a special occasion or night out.
Now that I have tried the So Natural Everyday French nails I would certainly choose them over a full set of acrylics because I don’t like the long term commitment. I would consider using the adhesive tabs again if I can conquer those cheeky pointer fingers and their lack of enthusiasm when it comes to being stuck.

I’ve only used faked nails maybe 3 times in my life. I hate that you have to play around with the glue etc.
I am quite liking the idea of stick on French Nails. I’ve never had my nails done at a beauty salon because I don’t want to get into that pattern of having them done all the time to keep them looking good.
I’d be happy with just 4 days wear….will have to have a look at them and try them sometime.
