The next set of beauty trends from Perth Fashion Festival that we are profiling is from the Wesley Quarter Show.
Napoleon Perdis directed the makeup and Kat Thompson (Creative Team Member for the brand) explains the looks and the products used:
What was the brief and/or inspiration for the look from the designer/brand?
The show had many inspirations as it features variety of amazing designers including Alannah Hill, Industrie, Metalicus and G-Star Raw. To suit the varied designers, two looks were created. One was very Alannah Hill with big smokey eyes, and candy lips; the other soft natural and beautiful.
Describe the look:
Look 1 was super girly and sexy. Think Barbie going on a date… The eyes of look 1 were the focus with really strongly defined, smokey eyes, with a hint of pink to warm through the socket of the eye. Big, sexy, glossy red/pink lips.
Look 2 was strong, natural and feminine. The freshness of the second look focused on minimal base, glowing skin, a strong brow with defined eyes.
