Low maintenance, shiny nails are now achievable at home with one of Scholl’s latest release products – the Velvet Smooth Nail Care System.

To be used for nails on both the feet and the hands, this electronic device runs with 1 x AA battery (supplied) and has three attachments.

The three step process is easy and all the nail care heads are labelled with a number.

  • Step 1 is for filing, shaping and preparing your nails.
  • Step 2 is for buffing and creating an even surface.
  • Step 3 is the final stage and is for giving your nails a shiny finish.

What I love about this tool is that no fancy products are required and your nails are left neat, tidy and shiny. It actually looks like you have a clear coat of polish after using the Velvet Smooth Nail Care System.

The process is simple and is something you can easily do in front of the TV or while sitting at your desk. The tool is light enough to use comfortably and it comes with a lid.

In addition to the Nail Care System it is also worth trying the Velvet Smooth Oil. My nails have been fairly dry lately and this product adds much needed moisture and leaves a shiny finish.

For the warmer months you really can’t go wrong with this naturally barely there look, and without the use of nail colour there is no chance of chipped polish – nails look healthier, smoother and packed with shine!

Scholl products are available from Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and other leading grocery and pharmacy stores.

  1. I bought this last week when in Priceline and they gave the Velvet Smooth Oil as a gift.

I am so loving it. So easy to use that even hubby has tried it on his nails.

I’ve tried it on my toes and fantastic also. It’s been really hard to actually reach my toes properly due to the total knee operation so using the battery operated one, it’s making the process that bit easier.

I am also going to try the Velvet smooth repair one for problem nails but it wasn’t in Priceline so will have to hunt for it.
